(Probably the reason why I was the only one afflicted with a whole day’s worth of sinus and scaring people with flu symptoms heehehe!)

So here goes!
✿ I don’t remember this, but my family recounted that in the past I used to love wearing a particular puffy, itchy, scratchy dress out. They said that my vanity overruled comfort. Personally, I think I was just deprived of girly things.
✿ I started taking note of the way I dress when I started posting to the wonderful w_r community last year. Being in art school helped a lot because people are more accepting and there is a lot of inspiration to draw from :P
✿ I have a drawer full of leggings and socks. Recently two of my friends from different cliques came back from overseas and bought leggings for me as souvenirs. Apparently I am known as the girl who would wear leggings that they would never dare to wear… said drawer is about to burst very soon XDDD
✿ When I buy clothes, part of the deciding factor is whether it would be a hassle to wash; this usually rules out glitter and sequins. Another part is its ability to be worn without being ironed :P (which shouldn’t be surprising if you already know the depths– or lack thereof- of my laziness ^^;)
✿ There was no make up when I was growing up, largely because my mum is a tomboy (when she took us out for meals in the past all of us would burst into hysterics whenever the waiters called her ‘sir’). My first taste of a lipstick came from the tip of a traditional lipstick brush when I visited my grandaunt who lived in Chinatown. Her adopted daughter applied a bright shade of red for me in the toilet. I was so happy.
✿ When I was younger, my father brought my younger brother and I to China during winter. We rode horses up the mountains. Unfortunately my father did not account for adequate warm clothes for young children and packed too little. He also did not pack socks. My brother turned blue. The entire tour bus took pity on us when we got back and piled clothes on top of our shivering frames XDDDD
✿ I am 168cm (5″6) tall. Most people don’t notice it until they’re right next to me and then they exclaim their amazement (because chances are that I’m taller than most Asian females). I blame the big head for the disillusionment. The bad thing about this is that dresses become mini-dresses. The good thing is that I have another excuse to wear leggings :P
I think that’s seven. I tried to make it clothes related :P Although as with my previous memes, the tag ends here but feel free to try this because it’s fun! I had a good time chuckling after remembering some of the childhood memories XDDD
I finally caved in and bought something from Forever 21. The material on that simple dress is gorgeous! I kept making people touch it XDD

There’s a strap which ties into a ribbon at the back but it’s a little difficult to see through all the black.
Had neglected my fingernails (usually cut them once a week but last week was a mess of flu and medicine and inertia) and it kept snagging out strings of the leggings >_<
Also, during lecture that day I finally got down to Emily‘s tag. One of the reasons why the last row of a lecture theatre is always my favourite :)
I did a variation the last time so this time I picked out questions that weren’t in the one I did… which were still a lot!

Preproduction module I’m taking for FYP, am in a group of two other talented individuals that I feel inadequate sometimes :S

What would you like to learn to do?
Driving! I’ve been putting it off for 5 years… Although my tendency to sleep in a moving vehicle and the propensity of getting lost may make me more of a liability than a good chauffeur :P
What’s for dinner today?
Transferring the pictures from my phone corrupted them, but this has got to be the nicest goma ice cream I’ve ever seen in Pepper Lunch, and it was made by a boy! His handwriting must be nice to look at too XD

What are you listening to right now?
The occasional sound of vehicles passing by at 2am.
How do you keep your accessories?
Stack-able boxes from IKEA, though the earrings tend to get tangled up…

I don’t have a bedside table, so it’s just my phone (alarm clock) and spectacles on the floor XD
What’s your style?
Casual, I guess!
What is your most challenging goal right now?
Staying awake till the end of April.

If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be?
Anywhere with four seasons next to a bookstore in a city with a good public transport system so I could explore! I’m not picky :D

Japan is my favourite just for Panda-san <3<3<333

Water, food, comfortable bed.
How was your childhood?
It was great. The five of us had a lot of adventures.
That’s me on the extreme left, my cousins in the middle, and my brother on the extreme right making his demonic face :P
What would you like to get rid of?
Cockroaches.
If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
If it’s only an hour, I think I’d go to Chomp Chomp (a food place in Singapore) for barbequed chicken and satay for supper.
Which language do you want to learn?
If only I could learn all the languages of the world! Traveling would be an even more amazing experience.
Which countries have you visited:
Malaysia, Indonesia, United States, Canada, Australia, France, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Holland, Germany, Liechtenstein, Austria, Japan, Korea, China… I can’t remember a lot of the places I’ve been to because I was too young and too forgetful (am still so!)
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be someone who knows what I want to do with my life.
What do you think really matters in life?
Difficult question! I’m still trying to figure out what I want out of my life, and so have not come to a conclusion as to what really matters… But I feel that the acceptance of death plays an important role in my journey.
What is your favourite thing to collect?
I know I should be using them more often than I’m hoarding :S
